What a Tier plant actually needs from a machine shop
Three things, and none of them is the lowest hourly rate. Parts that repeat lot after lot. Paper that proves it: material certs, dimensional reports, lot history. And answers fast enough to matter when a line is down. That's the standard we built the shop around, and it's why our quotes go out within 24 business hours.
Tooling, dies and the details cutters can't reach
Die details, punches and inserts in D2 or H13 need sharp internal corners and hardened steel, which is wire EDM territory. We rough soft, heat treat in house and finish hard, so a die component arrives ready to install, not ready to fit by hand. For everything else, CNC milling and turning to ±0.01 mm.

Broken part, no drawing, machine stopped: we've seen it. Send photos and the part if you can. We measure, reconstruct the print, machine it and document it, so the next time it breaks you own the drawing and the lead time shrinks.
What do you supply to automotive plants?
Machined components, tooling, die details, gauges, fixtures and replacement parts, from prototypes to recurring small series, with a dimensional report on every lot.
Are you IATF 16949 certified?
No. We run ISO 9001:2015 with full traceability. Tier plants source tooling, fixtures, gauges and maintenance parts from us under that system; serial production components that require IATF are a different scope, and we say so upfront.
How fast can you turn around an urgent repair part?
Send the drawing or the broken part. We quote in 24 business hours and prioritize line-down situations; reverse engineering a part without a print is normal work for us.
